Sun Pipe & Fittings cc started in March 2002, with two extruders and various small granulators,
hammermills at the present premises in Wadeville, Germiston with a staff complement of 11 workers. The sole member is Mr Ibrahim Seedat. To meet the growing demand for its products, extra manufacturing capacity was required. Another small but larger company called Wadepipe cc, with 5 extruders, also in-Wadeville, was purchased during 2003. The two companies were then combined and traded as Sun Pipe and Fittings cc T/A Wadepipe.
